Book Personality Challenge

The lovely Mandy @ Book Princess Reviews had tagged me a while ago in this unique and super interesting book tag! I’m so pumped to do this since I’ve never taken a personality test before and I feel that this would help me get to know myself better. Thanks a ton for tagging me, Mandy!

(For a free MBTI personality test, check out Sixteen Personalities or Personality Page! I took the Sixteen Personalities one and loved its theme and design!)

What is your MBTI personality type?

ADVOCATE PERSONALITY (INFJ, -A/-T)

agagag

The Advocate personality type is very rare, making up less than one percent of the population, but they nonetheless leave their mark on the world. As members of the Diplomat Role group, Advocates have an inborn sense of idealism and morality, but what sets them apart is that they are not idle dreamers, but people capable of taking concrete steps to realize their goals and make a lasting positive impact.

What is your personality like?

I agree with a lot of things this site mentions about my personality type but there are also a few things that I totally disagree with! Apparently, Advocates are supposed to be strong willed and decisive, and we are all aware of my indecisiveness.

Insightful – Seeing through dishonesty and disingenuous motives, Advocates step past manipulation and sales tactics and into a more honest discussion.

I never doubted my ability to see past dishonesty and I can so agree with this.

Extremely Private – Advocates tend to present themselves as the culmination of an idea. This is partly because they believe in this idea, but also because Advocates are extremely private when it comes to their personal lives, using this image to keep themselves from having to truly open up, even to close friends. Trusting a new friend can be even more challenging for Advocates.

Again, I totally agree. I don’t share a lot of personal stuff with people, and confide only in a very small group of extremely close friends and family who have earned my trust.

One of the things Advocates find most important is establishing genuine, deep connections with the people they care about.

If you were a character in a book, what would be some of you character strengths and flaws?

Strengths: Altriustic, determined and passionate, creative. I would also be an inspiring and decisive character. Sounds nice.

Weaknesses: Sensitive, private, perfectionistic. I am quite sensitive, actually. I also over think things.

Do any authors share your personality type?

I couldn’t find the names on Google, but other famous people who share my personality type are Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King Jr., Morgan Freeman.

What fictional characters share your personality type?

This is my favourite part!

My eyes do not believe this.

If you were a character in a book, what job would you have?

My character in a book can have jobs such as – counselors, psychologists, doctors, life coaches, writers.

What personality type would complete your OTP?

My OPT would be completed by an ENTP or ENFP personality type.

Who are some fictional characters that would complete your OTP?

Well I wasn’t able to find many bookish ENTP/ENFP characters on the internet, so I would just go with my personal preferences haha.

Peeta Mellark

He’s kind and generous and good with words. He’s caring, wise and soft-hearted. He knows how to take care of certain situations and I can totally see him complement my personality.

  1. Ooooh, Ava, your answers were so much fun to read! I always love how they tell you if your personality is rare or not. It’s like, thanks? XD But I’m glad there was some things that you definitely agreed with since some personality tests can be so off the mark. And this one was so cute for your first test. I love the little people. SO CUTE. And you have some epic characters. Super fun to read about, and wonderful post, Ava! 🙂

  2. LOL, I can totally see you being an INFJ! And it’s amazing that you share this type with Mother Teresa, MLK, and Morgan Freeman!? Also, it must have been so satisfying to see that you share your personality with characters from the LOTR series (which is one of your favorites, yes?). And Peeta’s always a great choice 😉 Awesome tag! Thanks so much for tagging me in this one! 😀

    1. Haha thanks so much! It does kind of fit, but at the same time it kind of doesn’t. But it definitely helped me get to know myself a bit better.
I know, right? I totally swelled up when I saw the names of the people with this personality type! 😂
And yes, Galadriel and Aragorn, who would have thought?! You know me so well! LOTR is indeed one of my favourites. 😊
You’re so very welcome! I hope you have fun with this tag. 💙
