Totally Should Have Book Tag

My heartfelt thank you to Mandy@bookprincessreviews and Lia@Lost In A Story for tagging me in this totally awesome book tag! They both run amazing blogs so be sure to check them out. Also I apologise to you both for getting around this post so late.

Let’s do this!

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE GOTTEN A SEQUEL

71lklmxqgjl

This book is soo good that I can’t help but be curious about the future of Eleanor and Park. Also, Rainbow Rowell HAD planned on writing a sequel for this book.

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE GOTTEN A SPIN-OFF SERIES

I hardly read any spin offs so I have no clue.

AN AUTHOR THAT TOTALLY SHOULD WRITE MORE BOOKS

J. K Rowling should never stop writing books ever!

A CHARACTER THAT TOTALLY SHOULD’VE ENDED UP WITH SOMEONE ELSE

America should have ended up with Aspen. Period.

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE ENDED DIFFERENTLY

What even was the ending of this book? The starting and build up of the book was good but the ending left me baffled.

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE HAD A MOVIE FRANCHISE

This series will make an EPIC movie franchise/TV series granted that they don’t miss out even the slightest of details.

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE HAD ONLY ONE POINT OF VIEW

The two POVs were so confusing AND annoying.

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE HAD A COVER CHANGE

I have to agree with Lia here. The old TMI covers absolutely sucked, but the new covers are beautiful!

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE KEPT THE ORIGINAL COVERS

I hate it when they change the original covers to movie covers. The original covers goes perfectly with the dark and sombre world of Beautiful Creatures.

TOTALLY SHOULD’VE STOPPED AT BOOK ONE

  1. I now wonder how Eleanor and Park would have continued, the ending of this book felt so unsatisfying, but maybe I’m the only one because everybody seems to love this book.
But America with Aspen..? I don’t know, I didn’t really like Aspen that much.
I think they shouldn’t go change the book cover because there’s a movie, because how is it ever going to fit together if you’re changing the cover of one book in a series??

    1. I was so eager after finishing E&P to know what’ll happen next, especially what was written in the post card.
Exactly the books don’t fit together in the bookshelf and its so annoying.
      Thanks for reading!

  2. Eep, I usually don’t like movie covers. Had a bit of a run in the other week too when I discovered that the movie version book of Arrival had changed the original name of the book (Stories of Your Life and Others) to Arrival to match the movie. It makes sense, I guess, but still ;___;

  3. Great tag! I love your answers.
The two POVs for Allegiant completely gave away the ending to me immediately. It was solo frustrating. My theory is the publisher wanted to cash in on the excitement of The Hunger Games and pressured Roth into finishing the books too quickly. I bet if his was rewritten it would either be from Four’s perspective or alternating between Tris and Four from the start. Sooooo frustrating!

  4. Great answers! I agree, though I haven’t read Paper Towns. And I was an Aspen shipper too. I thought it was kinda cruel to fall for another man while he loved her. But I guess they found a way for him to love someone else, too. 🙄

      1. Honestly, I really didn’t like how easy it was for her to switch to Maxon, though he was a nice guy. I’ve been in love, and I don’t know how ppl in books switch like that, you know?
No need to thank me for reading: your blog makes me smile! 😊
